How to Use Tempo Changer

Enter the original BPM of your track and your desired target BPM. The tool calculates the tempo adjustment factor without altering the pitch. This is ideal for DJ mixing and live sets.

Formulas

Tempo Change Factor:
Factor = Target BPM ÷ Original BPM
Percentage Change:
% Change = (Target BPM ÷ Original BPM - 1) × 100

  • Original 120 BPM → Target 128 BPM = Factor 1.067 ×, Change 6.7%
  • Original 100 BPM → Target 140 BPM = Factor 1.4 ×, Change 40%
  • Original 128 BPM → Target 120 BPM = Factor 0.9375 ×, Change -6.25%
